NCapsul Advisory Board

Ncapsul, Inc was created through the joint vision of health care providers, including physicians, clinical pharmacists, health educators and nurses. These professionals noticed the difficulty in providing their patients with exceptional care in the absence of complete and accurate medication information. As health care professionals, they were intimately familiar with the Institute of Medicine (IOM) 2006 strong recommendations for patients to proactively prevent medication errors and drug interactions by carrying complete personal medication lists, including prescription and non-prescription products. Unfortunately, it was continuously noticed that the general public was unaware of these medical recommendations. In response, Ncapsul, Inc was developed to address the need of awareness about preventing medication errors and to provide patients, caregivers, relatives, and health care professionals with a durable medicatio list to prevent medication errors, and get their medicine questions answered. Ncapsul, Inc's mission is to ‘...make medicine simple’ for the general public.

Ncapsul, Inc has developed both the CapsulCall™ - Clinical Pharmacists answer Medicine Questions and CapsulCard™ - A Durable Medication List services to meet the public need for ways to reliably self-document medication records, as recommended by the IOM and a way to get general medicine questions answered. In addition, the Ncapsul, Inc health advisory board, which is an interdisciplinary group of health care professionals continues to seek ways to provide the general public with tools, such as a durable medication list, to help make medicine simple by preventing medication errors and drug interactions.
