Frequently Asked Questions - Preventing Medication Errors

  1. What is the Cost?
    We offer both FREE and PAID services. Please review the pricing models to understand the limitations of each option. In order to gain access to any services, either FREE or PAID, you will need to REGISTER for a Free profile. Once you create a profile, our clinical pharmacists will be able to answer your medicine questions, review your medication list, and prevent medication errors.

  2. What is a CapsulCall™ - Clinical Pharmacists Answer Medicine Questions
    A CapsulCall™ allows you to ask licensed and board certified clinical pharmacists any medicine questions you may have. The CapsulCall™ services were created to allow our clinical pharmacists to review medication lists, answer medicine questions, and prevent medication errors.

  3. What is a CapsulCard™ - Durable Medication List
    A CapsulCard™ is a durable medication list which your physician (health care provider) name, pharmacy information, allergies, and medicine information are printed on the surface. These cards act to inform clinical pharmacists, physicians, specialists, caregivers, family members, and/or emergency personnel of your medicine information to help prevent medication errors. Our clinial pharmacists will review your medication list to answer your medicine questions, and prevent medication errors.

  4. What do I receive in my CapsulCard™ shipment?
    We understand your need to discretely store your medication list. In addition, some of our customers are unable to read smaller sized text. To meet these needs, we include a cardholder and magnifying card in the shipment with your CapsulCard. Not all customers will desire cardholders and magnifying cards. During the ordering process, you may choose to opt out of receiving the card holder and magnifying card.

  5. How can I begin my CapsulCall™ and order a CapsulCard™?
    Create a secure profile by clicking REGISTER on the top right or on a ‘Create Your CapsulCard’ or ‘Ask Our Pharmcists’ link within the website. After you confirm the information in your profile, click the link at the bottom of the page to enter in your medication list.

    If you choose to create your medication list later, you can log-out after creating your profile. If you are in the middle of completing your medication list, you can ‘save your cart’ and log-out. You can order your CapsulCard™ at anytime, by logging into the website and clicking on ‘Create Your Capsulcard’ link in your profile.

    We allow your user profile to be stored on our HIPAA-secure server free of charge. You can maintain or update your profile as needed at no charge. You will only be charged when you order a CapsulCard™ on a Per Card basis. Customers with subscriptions will only pay to initiate the subscription and have unlimited personal cards and calls (for customer listed on user profile only) until the subscription expires.

  6. How can I re-order a CapsulCard™?
    If you are attempting to re-order your CapsulCard™, you can either:
    • Click on ‘View My Ordered Medication List’ under My Account. This screen will summarize your previous CapsulCard™ orders. You can click on the link ‘Reorder my CapsulCard™’ at the bottom of the Medication List you would like to reorder. You can then modify or update this list to reflect your most up-to-date medication regimen. This will aid in preventing medication errors.
    • Click on ‘Create Your CapsulCard™’ under My Account. This will allow you to create a new Medication List.


  7. How do I add medications to my Medication List?
    Under ‘Select your Medication’, begin to type in the Brand or Generic name of the medication in the space below. The drop-down list will display potential medications that match what you have typed. You can click on the item in the list that accurately reflects your medication. If no appropriate option exists, you can use the available space to type in the full name of your medication. On the following page, indicate your dose and medication instructions.

    *Note: If your medication name or instructions are long, the text size on your printed card may be reduced to fit all of the entered information on the card.

  8. What are the CapsulCard™ plan options?
    You enter in your health information (physician name, pharmacy information, allergies, medication regimen) once and the information is maintained on our HIPAA-secure server. You can maintain your profile and update your information as needed to make sure your medication list is up to date.

    Option 1: FREE (EMR, 1 CapsulCall™ a month)

    Option 2: $15.00 (EMR, 3 CapsulCall's™ a month, 1 CapsulCard™)

    Option 3: $60.00 (EMR, Unlimited CapsulCall's™, Unlimited CapsulCards™, in a 6 Month Period-cards for customer listed on user profile only)

  9. Is there an extra fee for maintaining my profile?
    No. We allow your user profile to be stored on our HIPAA-secure server free of charge. You can maintain or update your profile as needed at no charge. You will only be charged when you order a CapsulCard™ on a Per Card basis. Customers with subscriptions will only pay to initiate the subscription and have unlimited personal cards and calls (for customer listed on user profile only) until the subscription expires.

  10. How secure is my information on your server?
    Our information is stored on a HIPAA-secure server. Please review the Ncapsul, Inc Privacy Policy for more information on our privacy practices.

  11. How long does it take for my a CapsulCard™ to be shipped?
    Our goal is to process all orders within 72 hours of receipt and ship within 5 business days of receipt. Orders are processed and shipped during regular business days, excluding holidays. Orders are shipped via United States Postal Service (USPS) First-Class Mail. Ncapsul, Inc saves you money by paying all postage fees when you CapsulCard™ (and accompanying items-cardholder/magnifying card-if applicable) is/are shipped to you.

  12. I made a mistake on the information I submitted for my CapsulCard™. How do I make a correction and receive a replacement?
    Information printed on the card is exactly the same as the information you submit on the website or approve for submission to the customer service agent. If you make a mistake on the information you submit, we would be happy to assist you in the ordering process of a replacement card. This can be done through our web-site or through one of our customer service agents. You would be responsible for the price of the card (unless you have an Unlimited Subscription Plan).

    In the rare circumstance, that the information printed on your card is incorrect due to an error made by Ncapsul, Inc or its representatives (i.e. different from the information you entered into the web-site or communicated to our customer service representative), we will exchange the card at no cost to you.

  13. How do I replace my lost CapsulCard™?
    We would be happy to assist you in the ordering process of a replacement card. You would be responsible for the price of the card (unless you have an Unlimited Subscription Plan). You can order your replacement on our website or by calling our toll-free phone number: 1-877-707-2336 (1-877-70-SAFEMED).

  14. What is your Money-back guarantee?
    If your are unhappy with your CapsulCard, return the card and we will issue you a full refund.
